BLACK RAIN ORDNANCE JOINS THE AMERICAN SUPPRESSOR ASSOCIATION.

In an effort to preserve and expand our 2nd Amendment rights Black Rain Ordnance Inc. has joined the American Suppressor Association (ASA). The ASA’s main focus is lobbying for the passing of pro-suppressor laws and regulations at both the state and federal level. The organization has been instrumental in legalizing suppressor ownership in Iowa and allow hunting with suppressors in states such as Michigan and New Hampshire.

At the federal level the ASA has been spearheading the effort to educate the legislature about suppressors, their usefulness in hunting and sport shooting, and gathering co-sponsors for their primary piece of pro-suppressor legislation, the Hearing Protection Act.

The Hearing protection act seeks to remove Suppressors from the purview of the National Firearms Act (NFA). The latter two require a $200 tax paid to the ATF and form processing which can take between 8-12 months due to small staff numbers at the ATF.

Black Rain Ordnance is proud to partner with the ASA and will work to
