- Length – 6 Hours/ 1 Day
- Hours – 9:30AM-3:30PM
- Black Rain will provide lunch
- Students will have a build sheet previously on file for the build they have purchased
Course Outline
- Introduction
- Laws regulating what constitutes a legal or illegal firearm build
- Instruction to build a complete lower
- Instruction to build a complete upper
- Instruction to correct mechanical malfunctions from a build
- Instruction to properly sight-in & break-in your rifle
- Safe storage, cleaning, & care of firearms
- Firearms safety in the home, on the range, & while carrying
- Safely loading & unloading a magazine procedures
- Fundamentals of Marksmanship
- Oral exam of course material
- Issuance of certificates
Required Pre-requisites & Equipment
- Student must be legally eligible to own a firearm.
- Students will be provided with the necessary safety equipment for range operations, if needed.
- Appropriate clothing for range and weather is required.
- Students will need to bring 40 rounds of factory ammunition, no reloads allowed.
